Rasmus Hougaard is the Founder and Managing Director of Potential Project, the global leader in customized leadership and organizational training programs based on mindfulness. The firm has a proven track record of enhancing individual and collective performance, resilience and creativity. Potential Project works with fortune 500 companies in 22 countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Clients of Potential Project include Accenture, Nike, American Express, Microsoft and Sony, to name a few. The objective of their programs is to enhance individual and organizational performance and well-being through skillful application of mindfulness in a corporate context.
Rasmus has practiced and taught mindfulness since the early 90s and has many years of experience working with leaders and individuals in bringing mindfulness and mental effectiveness into their organizations and lives. He has lead more than 1500 workshops and programs for more than 50,000 people and is recognized as a leading international authority on training the mind to be more focused, effective and clear in an organizational context. His book “One Second Ahead – Enhance Your Performance with Mindfulness” was published by Palgrave Macmillan in November, 2015.
Rasmus´ background includes a career in Sony Corporation as well as a researcher in organizational development. Rasmus has a Master’s degree in Organizational Development & Adult Learning and degrees in Philosophy and Human Resources.

With a Master of Science in Organizational Behaviour and over 20 years of experience supporting organizations through large scale change, Jacqueline has held a wide range of leadership and consulting roles across a range of industries including transportation, oil and gas, insurance and government. Jacqueline has many years of personal experience with mind training and over the past 10 years has focussed on embedding mindfulness practices into daily corporate life.
Erick shares his time between Potential Project in Europe, while still chairing Milestone Investisseurs, his private equity firm. He has been in corporate finance for 26 years including 18 years in private equity. Erick's core skills include initiating change at board level, negotiation, advising management teams on value creation and leadership. He sits on the board of companies in London, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Erick trains leaders and executives in global companies for corporate mindfulness techniques. Erick has had a daily mindfulness practice for 10 years and is regularly on retreat. He received his MBA from Columbia Business School (Award for Excellence). Martin holds a M. Sc. degree in Engineering and a M. Sc. degree in Psychology. He conducted the first Swedish study on the effects of mindfulness training in work-life, and is the author of a best selling book on Corporate Mindfulness ("Fokus på jobbet"). Martin has trained leaders and staff from companies like IKEA, IBM, Nordea, If, and Vattenfall in mindfulness.
With a Master in Business Administration and years of experience from the financial industry working with Danske Bank and in consulting roles with corporate companies in Denmark, Christel’s core skills are financial management, accounting and reporting. Christel has over the past 6 years a personal experience with mindfulness.
Hans holds a PhD in Computational Neuroscience. He has over 7 years of experience leading multidisciplinary data-driven projects and has an extensive knowledge of neuroscience, statistics, machine learning, high-performance computing, as well as behavioural economics and decision science. He also holds an M.A. in Buddhist Studies and has been practicing mindfulness for over 10 years. He splits his time between Potential Project and his research at the University of Toronto.
Jenni is the Service Operations Director with Potential Project International and a Senior Consultant and Trainer with the UK team. Her experience is founded in programme and project management having delivering organisational and transformational change in diverse settings across a range of industries. She is passionate about supporting individuals and teams build personal and interpersonal resilience to access greater awareness, clarity, self-reliance and focus. Trained in Mindfulness, Compassion and Emotional Intelligence to support organisations thrive, she teaches and trains in her local community as well as running workshops within organisations across the UK.
Sarah has over 25 years experience helping organisations with leadership development and large-scale orgaisational change. Her career has spanned GE, Accenture and BCG during which time she has developed a range of corporate mindfulness and positive psychology programs for clients. She is passionate about the wide-scale benefits that mindfulness brings to organisations and has had a personal daily mindfulness practice for 5 years.
Jason holds a MA in Positive Organizational Psychology with a co-concentration in evaluation and is currently a doctoral student in Positive Organizational Psychology. His research focuses on mindfulness and leadership development. Jason does evidence-based organizational development consulting and leadership development coaching. Overall, he is interested in helping organizations modernize the workplace for greater adaptability, engagement, and well-being.
Melissa's career experience spans across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in both Australia and the United States. Melissa holds a wealth of knowledge with extensive qualifications and experience in Human Resources, Marketing, Leadership and Learning and Development. She also has a strong appreciation for cross team collaboration with a holistic people and strategy approach. Melissa's background in Learning and Development and Project Management has driven her passion for delivering responsive, reliable and flexible solutions. Being introduced to a mindful path through Potential Project CBMT program Melissa has a beginners mind approach and dedication to cultivating her practice.
Marta’s background in psychology first led to a career in consumer research and marketing communication. Then, following her love of travel, Marta’s professional life took a turn into tour management, delivering travel experiences for US and Australian visitors in Central Europe. During a trip to South-East Asia 3 years ago, Marta discovered meditation and has cultivated an individual practice ever since.
Matilda holds a MSc in Sociology and has work experience in service operations and administration in the private and public sectors with focus on improving the service efficiency to different target groups by conducting evaluations. This included supporting leaders and decision makers with preparing and editing reports and organizing various practical arrangements.
Venkat is a MBA graduate with background in Information Systems. Venkat is an Intranet Architect. Venkat combines technological expertise with business acumen to deliver growth-oriented intranets for companies around the world. A firm believer in minimalism, he aims to bridge the gap between design and development, creating Intranet portals that are highly functional yet aesthetically gorgeous. He has delivered over a dozen Intranet for MNC's to Small/Medium size Enterprises. Every day, he strives to make it simple and more mindful.
Daniel received a B.Eng. in Infocomm and worked in Singapore before returning to Vietnam. He has experience in software systems and web development. Beside work, he enjoys volunteering his IT expertise for organisations in the areas of mindfulness practice and natural farming. Having been part of a community of mindful living in Singapore since 2010, Daniel aspires to contribute his presence & skills to build greater understanding & kindness into communities where he lives.
