We are pleased to announce our highly popular, Mindfulness at Work 10-evening Open Program is now being offered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This course will introduce you to simple yet powerful techniques to be more effective at work and at home. Specifically, we will introduce you to a daily training routine that will help you increase your ability to focus and bring more clarity and calm into your everyday work life. You can download one-page case studies from past participants on this course:
“Being mindful means I can put my all into a certain task, rather than half thinking about all the other tasks that need doing. As a direct result of the program, I am less easily distracted, and because I am calmer and more focussed, I tend to get projects completed faster than before.”
Ellie Warner, a leader within a large international organisation
“It sounds a little cliché but the course has changed my life! The most significant impact has been newly found insightfulness into what is happening to me and the effect I have on others. I am more productive at work, get better sleep at night and am able to brush off difficult situations with more ease.”
Sarah Webster, Senior Technical Accountant, Standard Chartered Bank
“I feel now that I am truly centered when I wake up every day. Being present allows me to see how un-present I was before and engage with clients, family and friends in a deeper capacity. Being more aware of my own thought processes allows me to let go of patterns I once held and adapt in real-time.”
Laurel Grey, Small Business Owner and Coach
“We all strive to be better at what we do. However, if we do not have the fundamentals right, as in the right mind space, any new learning is lost. Mindfulness has enormous benefits in our lives in general including improved attention, memory, productivity, health, happiness and creativity. Mindfulness is an essential element of any corporate environment.”
Ruth Harris, Senior Marketing Professional and Corporate Trainer
“I have developed an awareness of my own state of focus, and realize that I have control over it. I can choose to be present in a conversation or focus on a piece of work rather than allowing it to happen to me. Now I exercise my choice, I notice that I am more present in meetings and less easily distracted.”
Andrew Jones, Executive Coach, Career Counselor and Mentor
This program is being offered in partnership with Business Edge Coaching at leading provider of coaching and consulting in Calgary. In addition to the formal mindfulness training, highly experienced coaches from Business Edge will be on hand in each workshop to help answer questions and provide additional guidance on how to turn theory into action and action into results.
